File timeline
Every past version of the file you are looking at, newest first, in a list you can open.
When you would want it
It answers 'when did this break' and 'what did this look like last week' without leaving the editor.
Where to find it
- All Features → File timeline
- Settings → adcode.git.fileTimeline
How to use it, step by step
On by default.
- Open the Timeline view for the current file and click any entry to see that version, and what changed in it.
Why this beats the usual way
ADCode's source control drives plain git - no proprietary VCS, no account, no lock-in. Staging, committing, blame, timelines, and conflict resolution get the visual treatment heavier IDEs charge for, and the repository stays exactly as portable as git itself.
