MCP server
Lets AI tools outside ADCode - Claude Code, Codex, and others - read and write the same project notes.
When you would want it
One set of notes shared by every assistant you use, rather than each one starting from nothing.
Where to find it
- All Features → MCP server
- Settings → adcode.ai.mcpServer
How to use it, step by step
On by default.
- Settings shows the exact command to run once, from your project folder, with a Copy button.
- That is the whole setup.
Why this beats the usual way
Most AI editors rent you a subscription, choose your models, and take a margin on every token. ADCode connects to the provider you pick - major labs, a gateway, or a model on your own machine - stores your key in your OS keychain, keeps conversations on your disk, and shows you exactly what its memory holds.
